About Riley Sexton

Carefully crafted wines

that faithfully express

the extraordinary terroir

of Washington.

The craftsmen of Pretani Wines and Riley Sexton take pride in their winemaking; quality small-batch production allows each barrel of wine to evolve and demonstrate distinctive varietal character. Patience, a modest use of oak, and careful blending combine to highlight the robust tannins of Washington terroir.

We focus on traditional vinifera grapes: Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, Petite Verdot, Malbec, Grenache, and Mourvedre are presented as varietals and carefully assembled blends.

Riley Sexton was founded by entrepreneur and amateur winemaker Edward Riley in the fall of 2011. After five years in a small Seattle warehouse, operations moved to a larger warehouse and tasting room on the western edge of the valley in Woodinville. At the same time, Nathan Dively joined the winery as full-time winemaker and partner. Together, Nathan & Ed share a passion for small batch winemaking and a belief in the potential for high-quality red Washington wines.
